Good to know

Comfort is paramount. From mindful mattress selection to cushy outdoor furniture, we've taken every detail into account to create an optimal experience for our guests. Bedrooms: Queen bedroom on the main level across from a bathroom with shower. King bedroom tucked away on the lower level with a peekaboo lake view. The bathroom on this level has a tub/shower. Also on the lower level, is a family/tv room with a bunk space. From the family room, sliding glass doors lead out to a screened porch for bug-free dining and lounging. The kitchen is the hub of the cabin with a large island and lake views. You'll have everything you need to do as much or as little cooking as you prefer. Espresso maker, French press, coffee grinder, KitchenAid mixer, blender, quality knives and cookware with all the tools needed to help you cook with ease. The dining table looks out to lake and mountain views, and seats 6 (4 more at the island). Outdoor dining table for 6 overlooking the lake (during warm months.) The living room is a cozy space to unwind, with a gas fireplace and comfy sectional. We provide s’mores makings and firewood for the campfire! Roast a marshmallow at the fire pit and gaze at the stars. Our swimming beach is pebbly and perfect for launching watercraft as well as for children to swim. It’s pretty shallow and protected from big wake, only about 4 feet at the deepest point- gently sloped for little swimmers. Our outdoor gear is all available for guests to play on the lake. Kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets, and canoe. You'll have two docks for your boat. Plenty of outdoor seating on the deck overlooking the lake, screened porch on lower level, near the beach. You’ll love our peaceful bay! Please, note: Flathead Lake is fed by melting snowpack. This means the water levels of the lake vary depending on the season. Water levels begin to recede in October/November and the melting snowpack begins to refill the lake in April/May. During late spring, there is usually no water or snow directly in front of the house. Our bay is still a tranquil getaway, but the water levels change with the seasons. We look forward to sharing this little bit of heaven with you!!

We have baby gear, toys, dishes, kid's life jackets, beach toys, etc. please let us know if you would like any of these items, and we'll be sure to have them ready for you. Nestled in the woods, walk the quiet gravel roads around our bay and enjoy the tranquility of nature, while being only a 5-min drive to our quaint little town of Lakeside w/ its great options for coffee, breakfast, baked goods, casual and fine dining, and a grocery store. Glacier National Park-stunning and awe inspiring...if you've never been, take the 50-minute drive to see for yourself. So much to explore. Spectacular hiking. Stop at Eddie's for a scoop of huckleberry ice-cream on the shores of Lake McDonald. Whitefish- The picturesque little town of Whitefish boasts fun little shops and great dining. Whitefish Mountain Resort offers fun outdoor activities for all ages: zipline, alpine slides, gondola rides, mountain biking, huckleberry picking, and hiking. Kalispell- for all of the basics, a 30 minute drive away. Target, Costco, bigger grocery stores, library, etc. Bigfork- a pretty 30 minute drive around the top of Flathead Lake to a cute village full of art shops, a local theatre, and great dining options. Our family had such a wonderful stay at Jenna’s cabin—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully done, from the beautiful decor to how incredibly clean, cozy, and inviting the space felt. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of linens and towels, and the fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. One of the small touches that really stood out was the disposable earplugs in each nightstand—such a thoughtful detail that shows how much Jenna cares about her guests’ comfort. The lake views were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful, quiet setting made it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge. Jenna was exceptional with communication—kind, responsive, and truly hospitable. We also loved flipping through the book on the coffee table that showed the cabin’s transformation—it made us appreciate the space even more. This was such a special stay for our family, now a yearly must!! Thanks Jenna!! 🌺

Jenna’s cabin was amazing. She was incredibly responsive any time I had a question and was able to assist me with anything I asked. The location of the cabin is beautiful, I cannot say enough of how impressed I was with my stay and the host. I hope to go back again!

Absolutely loved every moment of our trip. It was our first visit to Flathead Lake and would Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay at this lovely home. Jenna was always helpful, giving us great tips from food to outdoor activites, she made the stay even better with her kindness. The home was perfect (5/5), the peaceful getaway we needed. The only downside was we didn't stay longer! Thank you for everything Jenna, we can't wait to visit again!

Spent a few days at this wonderful Airbnb that by far exceeded our expectations. When Jenna says it’s fully stocked she means it’s FULLY stocked! She has everything and anything you might have forgotten or didn’t know you needed. The house is very cozy and in immaculate condition with picture perfect views. The beds are super comfortable with plenty of closet space in the bedrooms. There was plenty of entertainment inside and outside to keep our family occupied and not wanting to leave the house. Everything was in working condition and the host is quick to respond if needed. We are excited to come back in the summer!

We rented Flathead Lake Retreat for 3 nights over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! From the moment we pulled up, we knew this place was special. The house was spotless from top to bottom and clearly cared for with pride and attention to detail. Every room felt warm, welcoming and comfortable. The house was stocked not just with essentials, but with thoughtful back-up supplies. There was plenty of space to cook, gather, play games and watch movies. We loved how the living areas flowed together, making it easy for everyone to interact no matter what we were doing. The location on Flathead Lake is simply stunning! Waking up to the views and being right on the lake made this stay feel truly special, even in the winter. It added a peaceful, magical quality to our Christmas holiday that we will always remember. Thank you Jenna for being such a wonderful host!
